CHICKEN HANDI

I'm sharing with you all this very simple and easy yet very delicious recipe of chicken.. it's a one pot preparation.

INGREDIENTS
1 kg chicken on the bone cut to about 10 pcs
2 tbsp minced ginger
2 tbsp minced garlic
4 whole green chillies
2 large onions sliced
1 tbsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp roasted cumin powder
2 tbsp corriander seeds roasted and crushed
2 tsp kasuri methi
2 tomatoes chopped
Salt to taste
6 tbsp oil
For garnish
3-4 tbsp cream
Chopped corriander leaves

METHOD.

In a large bowl mix all the ingredients with the chicken pieces...except oil.
Heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel. Add the chicken and all the mixed masala. Stir once.
Cover the vessel and turn the flame to medium.
Cook for about 10 mins. Then turn the flame to simmer.
Cook till the chicken is done and all the ingredients look like a homogeneous gravy.
Garnish with chopped corriander leaves serve with Nan and rice or paranthas.
